As Tasmanian as a scallop pie, the Tassie blue mussel has been an island food staple for tens of thousands of years. Mussel, abalone and flat oyster shells are part of the Aboriginal cultural landscape of stunning Great Oyster Bay where we grow our Tassie blue sapphire mussels all year round. Come in and share our love of the Iron-packed local mussel in our Aussie take on Belgium’s national dish, Moules Frites: mussels with chips matched with a deliciously fresh Bicheno Ale.
